We at Paradyn provide our customers with managed connectivity right through to desktop support. What exactly does this mean for our customers? We build, pro-actively monitor, support and maintain their entire infrastructure. We build, monitor and support their internet connectivity and wide area network; we supply, support and maintain their firewalls, network switches, servers and desktops. All of this under one managed service contract with one single supplier, something they can’t get from any other Managed Service Provider in Ireland.

Exigent Networks was born in 2007 and over the last 10 years has grown to be one of the largest network integrators in Ireland and the largest supplier of network infrastructure solutions to the government sector, including contracts with 26 of the 30 local authorities across in the country. In 2010 the Directors started Irish Telecom when we saw a need to deliver high capacity internet and WAN connectivity to businesses where existing infrastructure wasn’t available. This was done through building a national high capacity microwave wireless network and working with fibre backhaul providers to deliver uncontended 10Mbp/s to 10Gbp/s capacity to customers all over Ireland. In October 2016 Exigent Networks acquired Netforce limited to complete our managed service offering. Netforce had been providing managed services to commercial customers in the Leinster area since 2003 and the Directors were looking to become part of a larger team to grow the business. All three companies have won many awards over the last 10 years including Ulsterbank best business start-up in 2007, Deloitte Fast50 winners in 2012, 2013, 2014 and have been ranked one of Irelands best workplaces for the last 3 years.

Cillian McCarthy

Chief Executive Officer, Paradyn

Cillian is a co-founder of Exigent Networks and Irish Telecom which over the last 10 years have become two of Ireland’s leading ICT companies, delivering network infrastructure and telecom solutions to Ireland’s Enterprise and Government sectors. Cillian also led the company’s acquisition of Netforce Limited in 2016 which expanded the groups portfolio into a fully managed IT service provider. In March 2018 it was decided to merge these three brands under one name Paradyn, Cillian’s background uniquely prepares him to further develop Paradyns position as a strategic IT partner to many of Ireland’s leading organisations.

Cillian is also a co-owner and CEO at NeonSMS, an international mobile messaging provider allowing businesses to communicate with consumers through mobile messaging. www.neonSMS.ie

Paul Casey

Chief Operations Officer, Paradyn

Paul has been in the Technology industry for over 20 years and brings vast senior leadership experience to Paradyn’s technical and operational teams. As Operations Director, Paul is committed to customer service and has specific responsibility for Operations and Human Resources departments. Paul was one of the founding members of Exigent Networks and has previously held a number of roles in the Technology sector, both in Ireland and Internationally.

Rob Norton

Chief Technology Officer, Paradyn

Rob has been in the Technology industry for over 20 years and brings technical experience in Networking, Systems & Software Development to Exigent. As Paradyn’s Chief Technical Officer, he has responsibility for the Technical solutions developed by the business. Rob is one of the founding members of Exigent Networks and has achieved extensive ICT certifications from leading global vendors like Cisco, Citrix, F5 and fixed wireless manufacturers Ceragon and SAF. Rob has deep technical roots in B2B infrastructure, SaaS technologies and Hybrid IT solutions covering all aspects of Paradyns business.

Pat Downing

Head of Sales Infrastructure, Paradyn

Pat has over 25 years’ experience in the ICT sector working with companies like Eir, EMC, Motorola, Apple, Irish Local and Central Government and with all of the global ISP’s operating in Ireland. In the last 10 years working with Exigent Networks Pat has specialised in the design and sale of large scale, high capacity microwave point to point radio links as well as LAN/WAN network solutions. Pat’s ethos for a successful Sales organisation is built on creating strong customer relationships, great account management and providing customers with solutions that are the perfect fit for their business.

Gabi Benaim

Head of Connectivity, Paradyn

For the last 8 years Gabi has lead and directed activities for Irish Telecom, through his strong business acumen Gabi had growing this business from its initial roots as a local ISP to one of Ireland’s largest fixed wireless broadband providers. Gabi is an experienced telecoms professional and his remit stretches from Network Design, Operations into Technical Pre-Sales and Consultancy. Gabi’s “Customer First” and innovative approach to connectivity has resulted in Irish Telecom providing broadband services in some of the most challenges locations in Ireland.

Fergal Meehan

Head of Sales & Support Public Sector

Fergals experience stretches from sales to technical consultancy and spans across all industries. Fergal began his career at Iomega, heading up a large storage support team and from there quickly advanced specialising in Cisco technologies. Fergal holds a Cisco (CCNP), Checkpoint Administrator (CCSA) and Microsoft Security Administrator (MCSA) certifications. Over the past 6 years, Fergal has moved into ICT consultancy with a particular focus on central and local authorities. Fergal has successfully introduced new SaaS security, Infrastructure and Hosting solutions to these government agencies and provides strategic leadership to both Paradyn and our customers.

Grace McCauley

Key Account Manager, Paradyn

Grace is an accomplished Strategic Account Manager with more than 15 years dedicated experience in the IT / Telecommunications Sector in Ireland and the UK. As a BSc (Hons) Graduate in Business Information Systems, Grace has combined both her developed technical knowledge and expansive client facing experience from her previous roles in National Service Providers and specialised SME's. As a Customer Centric Professional, Grace ensures that all of her customer’s core objectives are understood, communicated and placed at the heart of every offered solution. Grace's role at Paradyn focuses on two key areas, to proactively manage a number of strategically important client accounts, and to continue to grow Paradyn's customer base in Ireland through the development of key strategic relationships.
